ASPIA held a one-day workshop with Prof. Tony Attwood and Dr Michelle Garnett on 10 March 2018 at the Club Burwood RSL .
'Couples and Asperger's Syndrome' covered the perspectives of each partner, the developmental phases from meeting to aging, communication issues, challenges in the relationship, factors to promote success, managing stress and supporting each other, sharing the workload of a household/family, affection and intimacy, and love languages.
The session included an introduction to the components of Tony and Michelle’s 8 Session Couples Group Therapy Programme “The Relationship Minefield”.
